My name is Steve Schafer. I am the President of Net Results Recruiting. I started working in the basketball recruiting service space in 2021 after a 21-year college coaching career. I got into this business because I truly believe assistance and guidance is needed in this ever-changing college basketball recruiting landscape. To have the opportunity to take all the knowledge, experience and connections I’ve gained as a college basketball coach and spread that to talented prospects and families around the country to help them navigate their own recruitment journeys has been a truly rewarding experience. Since 2021 I have helped hundreds of prospects around the globe with their college basketball recruitment process and have found college basketball opportunities for 100% of my players from NCAA D1 to junior college and all levels in between.

My Experience As A Recruting Consultant
Throughout my coaching career I have been able to build an extensive personal network of college basketball coaches on both the men’s and women’s side and have developed a reputation as being a trusted source for college basketball coaches when it comes to recruiting. Having someone in your corner that has personal relationships with college coaches is vital in today’s recruiting world.
Only a small percentage of high school basketball players get an opportunity to play at the college level. Prospects and parents need to understand that every level of college basketball is ELITE! There are “pros” at every level and limited rosters spots available at each level every year in college basketball. As your recruiting expert I understand what it takes to play at each level, what college coaches are looking for in a potential recruit and how a prospect can stand out and separate themselves from the competition.
Over the past few years, I have met many families that feel overwhelmed and do not know where to begin when it comes to starting this process with their son or daughter. Being in the coaching profession for two decades there isn’t anything that a prospect will go through in the recruitment process that I don’t know is coming and can’t guide and assist the prospect and family effectively on. I am committed to providing honest, personalized feedback to all my players and families as well as educating them on every stage of the recruitment process.
There are a lot of options out there for playing college basketball. I am dedicated to helping prospects and their families realize what those options are and help them find the “right fit” for playing college basketball.
